2019 marks the year of the very first Flea Market! Come and sell your used hiking gear at the flea market or come and buy high-quality second-hand hiking gear! The Flea Market takes place on the 2nd floor of the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds on 6th of April from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Flea Market is organised by MatkaSport who administers the sales process on the spot. All you have to do for selling your used hiking gear (that is in a good condition otherwise), is bring it to us and hopefully it will find a new owner and you get to profit from the sales.
How to take part in the Flea Market?

Provide us with the number of items you wish to sell and add a description of the gear you want to sell at the Flea Market (for example: hiking boots, mattress, jacket). This is important because we need to ensure that the supplies necessary for displaying your goods are available at the market selling space (such as tables, clothes racks and hangers).
We will send you an invoice once we have confirmed the number of items to be sold and a space at the market is ensured for you after we have received your payment.
When can I register to the Flea Market?
Registration to the Hiking Gear Flea Market is open until the 4th of April.
How much is the participation fee and what does it include?
5€ – you can bring 1-5 items for sale
10€ – you can bring 6-10 items for sale
15€ – you can bring 11-15 items for sale
20€ – you can bring 16-20 items for sale
Your fee includes the selling space at the market, all the necessary supplies and the sales service itself (it means that you do not have to sell your gear yourself).
When and how is the payment confirmation statement delivered?
Your payment confirmation in the form of a fully paid invoice is sent to your e-mail address. Please bring the payment confirmation (either electronically or on paper) when you come to bring your items to the Flea Market.
How are the items handed over and which preparations should be carried out on the spot at the Flea Market?
The organiser arranges a selling space for your items and the supplies necessary for pricing them. The prices have to be marked on the items in person on the spot.
You can bring your goods to the market on either of the two days:
On the 5th of April, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
On the 6th of April, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.*
*All of the items must have price tags and displayed for the visitors by 10 a.m.
Reservation fees are non-refundable.
What happens to unsold items?
You have to collect your unsold items yourself, on the 6th of April, between 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. You will need to take away all of your unsold items.
When and where will I get my profit?
You will get your sales profit for sold items in cash after the fair between 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
What else should be taken into account?
The organiser is not responsible for items that have been damaged or gone missing. As a rule, offering your gear at a good price increases the likelihood of giving it a new and happy owner.
